Adi Kailash Yatra

Time Duration

Time Duration

The road construction has made the Adi Kailash yatra route much easier than earlier times when the Adi Kailash Yatra was done by a 200km trek from Dharchula which took around 18-19 days to complete. But this was till 2019. Since 2021 the circumstances have changed, with the development of motorable roads and availability of basic resources in the region Now it takes only 8 days and 7 Nights for pilgrims(Kathgodam to Kathgodam) to fully cover 18 Holy sight scenes and holy places en-route like Jageshwar Dham, Kainchi Dham, Golu Devta Mandir, Patal Bhuvaneshwar Cave etc. Pilgrims with packages from Dharchula to Dharchula(5 Days and 4 Night) will not be visiting Jageshwar Dham, Kainchi Dham, Golu Mandir and Patal Bhuvaneshwar during the Chota Kailash / Adi Kailash and OM Parvat Yatra. In case you are travelling during monsoon season, it is always advisable to carry some extra buffer days out of your schedule.

Yatra starts from Kathgodam city(Uttarakhand) and all yatris from all over India reach the city to start with the yatra.
