Adi Kailash Yatra FAQs

Recent road improvements have made the Adi Kailash Yatra route much more accessible. Previously, the 200 km trek from Dharchula took 18-19 days. Now, thanks to motorable roads and better resources, pilgrims can complete the journey in just 8 days and 7 nights (from Kathgodam to Kathgodam), visiting 18 sacred sites, including Jageshwar Dham, Kainchi Dham, Golu Devta Mandir, and Patal Bhuvaneshwar Cave.

Those opting for the 5-day, 4-night package from Dharchula will miss these significant locations during the Chota Kailash/Adi Kailash and OM Parvat Yatra. If travelling in the monsoon season, it's advisable to plan for extra buffer days. The Yatra begins in the lively city of Kathgodam (Uttarakhand), where pilgrims from all over India gather to proceed on this spiritually enriching journey.

From Kathgodam to Kathgodam, it takes 8 Days and 7 Nights to complete the Adi Kailash and OM Parvat Yatra. Along with Mount Adi Kailash and Om Parvat, we will also be covering 16 other sightseeing spots, which will include famous temples of the Kumaon Region and places related to the Pandavas.
