The best times to go on this heavenly journey are in the summer (May to June) or the fall/early winter (September to March). During these times, the temperature in Pithoragarh is between 10°C and 22°C. In the higher parts of Gunji, it can drop to -5°C to 10°C. People usually avoid flying during the monsoon months (July to August) because the weather is bad and temperatures range from 15°C to 25°C.
