The summer season of Adi Kailash and Om Parvat - The summer season is counted as the best time to visit Chota Kailash trek and Om parvat trek. There is no risk of landslides at that time. The Adi Kailash temperature and Om parvat temperature  during this period falls around 27℃ during the day and goes till 21℃ at night. Although sun rays directly hit you so it's always advisable to wear a cap or scarf to save yourself from tanning.

The Monsoon Season of Adi Kailash and Om Parvat - July to August is the monsoon season in India. It is also the start of sawan/shravan mahina which is considered a very holy month in Hindu beliefs.Many people wish to go to the yatra during these auspicious days. One can go to yatra during this time but they need to be extra cautious about road conditions and weather and must carry extra buffer days. BRO and other organizations are always there to help yatris with opening of roads if they are blocked unfortunately.The Adi Kailash temperature and Om parvat Temperature remains around 25℃ during day and 18℃ during night.

Post Monsoon period /Autumn season of Adi kailash and OM Parvat - After monsoon the weather becomes really pleasant to visit and to go for the Adi Kailash and OM parvat yatra.September to mid October is the time when the yatra restarts again after monsoon with all Himalayan peaks clearly visible with less rush.During this time of the year people get to enjoy the yatra fully.During this period the temperature in Adi Kailash and OM Parvat falls around 20℃in the day and around 4℃ in night.

The Winter Season of Adi Kailash and Om Parvat - Winter season is the time when you would madly want to visit this place, but due to heavy snowfall in Adi Kailash and Om Parvat, all the roads that lead to this place are closed by the Government and well-advised to not travel. It is advisable that you complete your Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra before mid October  as chances of road blockages due to snow becomes really high after that. From November to April Adi Kailash temperature and OM parvat temperature remains in minus (around -6℃ to -30℃) 24*7 and the cold winds of snow are just not bearable. 

Sometimes due to sudden change in weather and rainfall roads are blocked but this is not something to be worried about because authorities and BRO takes quick action to resolve the problems.They clear the road as soon as possible. Moreover Trip TO Temples take proper care of its yatris and yatris do not have to worry about food and lodging even if they are stuck at a place. Comparing to earlier time the difficulty has been reduced to bare minimum with the development of new road in the regions after Dharchula. Adi Kailash Pilgrimage is difficult and delay might happen in yatra but real beauty of yatra lies in hardship faced during Adi Kailash yatra which becomes a cherished memory afterwards.

July to mid-August is considered as the Monsoon season in Adi Kailash & Om Parvat region. You should plan for the yatra before the monsoon or after the monsoon as it is more convenient .But rainfall is really unpredictable in the mountain regions and sometimes even weather forecast is not able to predict accurate information. A delay of 2 days or 3 days might happen during these situation.Yatris needs to keep calm and be patient during these situations.BRO and authorities take quick action with clearing of roads and helping yatris as soon as possible.

The Temperature during the Adi Kailash and OM Parvat Yatra varies according to place and season.

Mid May to June- During summer time the max temperature up from Kathgodam to Dharchula remain around 38℃ and min temperature around 22℃ After Dharchula to Adi Kailash and OM Parvat the max temperature remain around 27.9℃ and min temperature remain around 21.9℃

July to August- During this time the max temperature remains around 35℃ and min temperature remains around 23.8℃. After Dharchula to Adi kailash and OM Parvat the max temperature remain around 25.7℃ and min temperature around 20.8℃.

September to mid-October- During this time the max temperature from Kathgodam to Dharchula remains around 30℃ and min temperature remain around 20℃. After Dharchula to Adi kailash and OM Parvat the max temperature remains around 20℃ and min temperature remains around 04℃.

November to April- During this time the max temperature from kathgodam to Dharchula remains around 27℃ and min temperature around 15℃ After Dharchula to Adi Kailash and OM Parvat Yatra the max temperature remains around 2 ℃ and minimum temperature around -12℃
