In the mystical Kumaon Himalayas lies Adi Kailash, also known as Chota Kailash. For devotees, this isn't just a mountain; it’s a mirror of the Tibetan Kailash and a site of immense cosmic power. According to Hindu scriptures, this is where Lord Shiva chose to meditate for the welfare of the world. It is a place of such profound energy that even the demon king Ravana, one of Shiva’s greatest devotees, is said to have performed intense penance here to gain the brilliance of ten men.

Just across the valley stands the enigmatic Om Parvat. Among the eight such "Om" peaks believed to exist in the world, this is the only one currently accessible. The mountain features a natural, miraculous impression of the sacred ‘ॐ’ (Om) symbol, formed by the interplay of snow and the rock face. Walking the path of the Pandavas, who are said to have crossed this region on their final journey, pilgrims visit these peaks to cleanse their Karma and attain a higher state of Shiva consciousness.
