Kedarnath is a part of the Panch Kedar and is devoted to Lord Shiva. It is the northernmost Jyotirlinga and is located near the origin of the Mandakini River. Kedarnath is one of the most esteemed temples in India by the Hindus and holds major significance in the Hindu religion, as Kedarnath is one of the Chota Char Dham and also one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. The ancient name of Kedarnath is ‘Kedar Khand’. Kedarnath, located at an altitude of 3,580 meters near the Chorabari glacier, the source of the Mandakini river, with a backdrop of Kedarnath peak, Kedar Dome, and other Himalayan peaks, is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Lord Vishnu is worshipped in Badrinath. It is located on the Alaknanda River's bank. Lord Vishnu meditated here, according to mythology, while his spouse Lakshmi took the form of a berry (Badri) tree to provide him with shade. Lord Vishnu was so moved by Goddess Laxmi's deed of love that he named the location Badrikashram after her. This temple is only open from May to October, attracting millions of pilgrims during that time. It is also one of the Char Dham Yatra temples.

- Additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle, other than mentioned in the itinerary.
- Entrance fees & guide charges.
- Any cost arising due to natural calamities like road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
- Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to an increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect before departure.
- The body weight allowance for the helicopter is 75 kgs /per person. If the body weight is above 75 kgs, then extra body weight charges will be applicable, which is INR 2500/-per kg

REGISTRATION PROCESS
- Fill up Chardham Yatra 2025 Registration form
- Pay the non-refundable registration amount of 40% in a corporate bank account or online and mention the transaction number on the registration form.
- Attach a self-attested copy of identity proofs, like a valid Indian passport (Mandatory), and two photographs.
- Email Registration Form, Scan Valid ID Proofs & Transaction Number on Email: info@triptotemples.com (cc accounts@triptotemples.com & adik@triptotemples.com) & courier originals self-attested copies to us on office address.
Send 1 month before the Yatra Date:
- Original self-attested physical fitness certificate from any MBBS doctor, not more than 1 month old from the Yatra date. (Ask for a format from us.).
⮚ Carry the original passport (2nd option) during the yatra.
BODY WEIGHT LIMITATION
- Each helicopter can accommodate up to 6 passengers with a total weight limitation of 450 kg for all 6 passengers.
- Trip To Temples reserves the right to de-board passengers if the actual body weight deviates from what was provided at the time of booking.
- No refunds will be provided for any passenger who is deboarded due to incorrect body weight.
- Passengers are requested to provide exact body measurements on an electronic scale.
- Passengers with a body weight of above 75 kg will be charged INR 2,500 per kg excess. This amount will be collected in Dehradun before the flight.
- If the given body weight is incorrect, passengers will be charged INR 3,500 per kg on the final check by the pilot, or they will be de-boarded without any refund.
- Moreover, if there is any variance in the passengers' weights, subject to charges based on the overweight criteria, the corresponding amount will be collected at the hotel before the day of flight boarding.
LUGGAGE WEIGHT
Each passenger is allowed only one piece of baggage, weighing a maximum of 2-5 kgs. Helicopter travel does not permit suitcases or other traditional luggage bags. To addressthis, our staff provides duffle bags to all passengers upon arrival. The allowance for baggage weight is based on the total body weight of the group. If the combined body weight of the group exceeds the allowable limit of 450 kg, additional charges will apply for transporting the excess luggage by road, and this cost will be shared among all passengers in that chopper.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Trip To Temples reserves the right to cancel passengers who are unruly, abusive, intoxicated, sick, mentally unfit or anyone else who we deem to be unsafe to fly. No refund shall be made to such passenger(s).

PAYMENT TERMS
*Advance booking requires a 40% deposit of the total amount. The remaining balance must be settled 30 days before the scheduled arrival date in Dehradun.
*Passengers are only allowed to board or initiate the tour after completing the full and final payment for the tour.

Char Dham Yatra 2025 to begin on 30th April, says BKTC
Char Dham Yatra is a prominent pilgrimage circuit for Hindus, yet pilgrims from other communities like Jains, Sikhs, and Buddhists take part in it. Two of the primary Char Dhams- Badrinath Temple and Kedarnath Temple witnessed 1.42 million and 1.65 million pilgrims in 2024 respectively. Altogether, a staggering tourist footfall of 4.8 million pilgrims was recorded for Char Dham Yatra, in the same year. Char Dham Yatra includes a visit to the four temples located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath, and Kedarnath.
Historic update for Char Dham Yatra in Uttarkashi
Historic start for Char Dham Yatra: Uttarkashi welcomes over 3,60,000 pilgrims. The Char Dham Yatra in Uttarkashi in 2024 saw the highest number of tourist footfall, with over 3.6 Lakhs pilgrims visiting the famous Char Dham sites, Yamunotri, Gangotri, Badrinath, and Kedarnath, during the first 15 days of the Yatra. As reported by the Economic Times, 9812 pilgrims travelled to Yamunotri Dham, while 13,602 yatries visited the Gangotri Dham.
