No you will not be staying in tents during Adi Kailash OM Parvat yatra.You will stay in the well maintained Home stays of the villages and experience their local culture.Local people of the Rung community are very hospitable and welcoming. Trip to Temples also organizes a small cultural Program for the yatris during their stay in the Nabi Village.

Individual rooms are not available in the Adi Kailash & Om Parvat yatra because of limited availability of infrastructure. After Dharchula your stay will be organized in Home-stay. Separate mattress with separate blanket and pillow will be provided to the yatris during their stay in Home- stays/rest houses .At some homes 4 to 5 people will be accommodated while in some home stay7-8 people will be accommodated depending upon the capacity of the Home-stays . It is necessary for people to stay close and together in that region due to cold weather and harsh climate as living closely together maintains the warmth of the room and it feels good to be surrounded and knowing like minded people during yatra .Living under the same roof with people who have same level of devotion towards lord shiva fills you with positive energy.

Accommodation in Hotels/ rest houses are provided by Trip to temples on The Adi Kailash Om Parvat yatra up to Dharchula.(Twin/Triple/Quad share Basis).

After crossing Dharchula your stay will be organised in maintained Home stays and Rest-houses, so that you can experience the local culture of the region. Separate Indian and western Style Toilets facility is available in the homestays above Dharchula.
