Kailash Mansarovar Yatra FAQs

For an add-on experience, Trip To Temples provides some goodies at no extra cost. High-quality Duffel bags and Backpacks are given to each pilgrim, which are non-returnable. “I Am Kailashi” T-shirt, Trip To Temples Cap, and Puja kit are given to yatris travelling with us on the Helicopter route of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Along with these items, we will also provide a Down jacket that will be returnable after the completion of the Kailash Yatra. We also give a miniature of Mount Kailash to all the pilgrims travelling with us as a special gift.

Trip To Temples provides the new jacket to its yatris, which they can keep with themselves after the completion of the yatra.

You can wear the down jacket provided by Trip To Temples because it acts as identity proof. The Tour Manager will be able to recognize the group members from the crowd and will be able to provide better support in case of an emergency.

The duffle bag given to you by Trip To Temples has a number tag on it, and a Luggage tag is also provided. You are requested to click a photo of the number tag. Remember the number to avoid any confusion regarding the identification of the bag issued to you. Keep the backpack with you always to avoid any confusion.

There is a briefing session done at Nepalganj (on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Helicopter route) and Kathmandu (on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Overland route) in which the team of Trip To Temples provides the yatries with Duffle bag and a Backpack. From there onwards, only essential items are taken ahead in the bags of Trip To Temples, and the rest of the items are kept in the cloakroom safely in your luggage bag. You will receive the luggage when you return after visiting Kailash Mansarovar. While going to Mount Kailash Parikrama, the extra luggage is kept in the cloakroom at the Hotel in Darchen which is the base point of Mount Kailash Parikrama. After completing the Parikrama, you will be taken to Darchen to collect your luggage from there and then proceed further.
