Mathura Agra Pilgrimage Tour
The Trip To Temples curated five Nights and six days Mathura-Agra tour is a journey that takes you from the Lord Krishna’s holy Braj Bhoomi and to Mughal era’s historical beauty in Agra. Your journey starts in Mathura and Vrindavan, where you will visit Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi - Mathura, Gokul and Govardhan and ends with a soulful Aarti on the banks of Yamuna. The best time to visit is during the peak season, which runs from October to March. The weather is nice then, with temperatures between 10°C and 28°C. On the other hand, the summer months (April to June) can be very hot, with temperatures rising between 25°C and 45°C. The monsoon season (July to September) brings lots of green plants but also high humidity and temperatures between 24°C and 35°C.
Travellers should be ready to walk a moderate amount during the trip. You can expect to walk about 1–2 km every day in the narrow, busy streets of Vrindavan and Mathura to get to different shrines. Walking about 2–3 km on paved paths is required to see large places like the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. However, e-rickshaws are used whenever possible to help. The itinerary is carefully planned for people of all ages and the Trip To Temples team takes care of all travel, darshan and clean hotel stays, so you can fully immerse yourself in your spiritual and historical experiences.
