Manimahesh Yatra by Helicopter (4 Night / 5 Days)

Today, the path turns skyward. A short helicopter flight from Bharmour lands you at Gaurikund in minutes. From here, it’s a 1km trek to the sacred Manimahesh Lake. You’ll have the full day to perform prayers, witness the reflection of Manimahesh Peak in the water, and complete your parikrama.

• Take the helicopter to Gaurikund and trek to the lake.
• Spend the afternoon in spiritual reflection at the water’s edge.
• Instead of heading back, you’ll stay overnight in a scenic mountain camp near Gaurikund or Manimahesh Lake, sleeping under the Himalayan stars.

Wake up to the mountain air before taking a flight back to Bharmour. After the intensity of the high-altitude camp, this is a day for rest and recovery. You’ll have time to revisit the Chaurasi Temple complex at a slower pace or wander through the local village.

• Morning helicopter flight back to Bharmour.
• Rest for a few hours before visiting the 84 ancient shrines of the Chaurasi complex.
• Enjoy another evening at the homestay, sharing stories of the peaks.

We descend toward the lush greenery of Dalhousie. This drive takes about 3-4 hours and stops at Khajjiar, often called the "Mini Switzerland of India." It’s a complete change of scenery—from the rugged rocks of Mani Mahesh to wide, rolling meadows surrounded by cedar forests.

• Drive to Dalhousie with a long stop to explore the Khajjiar meadows.
• Spend the afternoon wandering through Dalhousie’s colonial lanes.
• Overnight stay at a homestay in Dalhousie.

The mountain air follows you as we begin the final leg of the trip. After an early breakfast, we drive down to the plains.

• Check out and drive toward Amritsar or Pathankot.
• Drop off at the airport or railway station for your journey home.

The yatra concludes with the blessings of Shiva and the quiet strength of the mountains.
