One of the most well-known Hindu pilgrimages in India is the revered Char Dham Yatra, which takes place in Uttarakhand. Four sacred destinations are visited during this religious tour namely Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.
The high-altitude holy sites are open for only half of the year, starting in the summer (May) and ending as winter approaches (October or November). If you wish to take the helicopter route for the entire Chardham Yatra, then you can book your Chardham Package from a tour operator. Unlike Kedarnath trek, government shuttle is not available for Yamunotri trek probably because the distance is less than that of Kedarnath. Thus, there are no helicopters for Yamunotri trek.

Pilgrims who take tour packages from various tour operators can reach Gangotri by Helicopter. However, helicopter services for Gangotri is not availbale separately.
