Upon arrival at Kochi Airport/Railway Station. Drive to hotel. Check-in the hotel. Day free for Leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Kochi-Guruvayur Temple-Kochi (186 KMs/6 Hrs)

After breakfast, Proceed for Guruvayur. Visit, Guruvayur Temple. Return back to Kochi. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day-3

Kochi Airport/Railway Station Drop

After breakfast, Check out from the hotel. Drive Kochi Airport/Railway Station Drop.

Guruvayur Temple Tour

Guruvayur or Guruvayoor Temple is dedicated to Lord Vishu being worshipped by Balgopal (childhood form of Sri Krishna) also known as Guruvayoor Unnikannan. The term Guruvayurappan, Lord of Guruvayur dervies from 'Guru' as in Brihaspati, 'Vayu' from the Guru of Devas 'Vayu Dev', the God of wind and appan refers father. Lord Vishnu gave an idol of himself and fullfiled the wish of his devotees Prishni and Sutapa by being born to them for three incarnations, as Prishnigarbha, Vamana and Sri Krishna. This idol of him with 4 arms reflecting his original form was later ordered by Krishna to get the murti to Dwarka for being worshipped by him. He alloted the task to Udava his devootee and also minister. Uddhava seeked help from Brihaspati and Vayu to house the murti at a suitable place. Guru and Vayu in seach of suitable place met Parshurama holding the similar murti who was on his way to Dwarka guided them to a beautiful lake full of lotus and was instruded by Lord Shiva to place both the Murtis together, near to the lake. The temple here was constructed by God Vishwakarma himself on request of Guru and Vayu, since then the place is known to Guruvayur.

The temple allows only Hindu devotees in the premises where men should strictly follow No Shirt and only Dhoti / towel and females to wear saree/ suit-salwar. The temple is also famous for it Elephant festival.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

Fill up South India Pilgrimage Tour Registration form.
Pay the non-refundable registration amount in a corporate bank account or online and mention the transaction number on the registration form.
Attach a self-attested copy of identity proofs, like a valid Indian passport or Aadhaar card, and two photographs.
Attach 1st & Last Page of valid ID Proof.
Send 1 month before the Yatra Date:
Original self-attested physical fitness certificate from any MBBS doctor, not more than 1 month old from the Yatra date. (Ask for a format from us.).
E-mail Registration Form, Aadhar / Voter ID Scan & Transaction number on info@triptotemples.com & accounts@triptotemples.com
Send self-attested hard copies on office address.

⮚ Carry the original Aadhaar card (1st priority) or passport (2nd option) during the yatra.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

It is our most important aim that you enjoy your holiday and that we earn your trust. However, we are not responsible for any cancellation due to any unforeseen disputes, weather-related issues, natural calamities, technical failure of any type of transport we use, loss of earnings,Weather, late arrivals or force majeure, or any items beyond our control.
After booking, if you wish to cancel your trip, you must notify Trip To Temples in writing at accounts@triptotemples.com or adik@triptotemples.com.

Once Trip To Temples receives your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:
● 50% refund on cancellations between 21 and 45 days.
● 30% refund on cancellations between 15 and 20 days.
● 20% refund on cancellations between 11 and 14 days.
● No refund before 10 days of departure or Yatra denial by local doctors during medical check-up in Yatra.

The booking amount is non-refundable under any circumstances. We can accept replacements from customers without any cost for up to 20 days from the Yatra date with complete documents.
All refunds and cancellations are applicable as per the cancellation policy, with a processing time of 15 working days from the date of cancellation.
