Kedarnath and Tungath are considered to be in the list of Panch Kedars. These temples were built by the Pandavas after the war of the Mahabharata when Lord Krishna suggested that them meet Lord Shiva to get rid of their sins of killing their blood relatives. On the opposite side, Lord Shiva was angry with Pandavas on the bloodshed caused in the war and tried to avoid meeting them, during the process, Lord Shiva took the form of a Bull, hiding himself in the herd of cattle at the Kedar Village. Bhima was sharp enough to differentiate and understood the Bull was no ordinary bull but Lord Shiva. Only when Bhima got to catch the bull's (Shiva) hump, it hid itself into the earth, parts of which was later found in 5 different palces. Those places are beleived have emerged parts of Lord Shiva- Madmaheshwar (Belly Button), Rudranath (Face), Kalpnath / Kalpeshwar (Hairlocks), Tungnath (Arms) and Kedarnath (Hump). Tungnath has the highest temple of Lord Shiva.

YOUR ITINERARY (DAY WISE)
Haridwar - Sonprayag (230 KMs / 7 hrs)
Arrival at Haridwar Railway Station / Airport. Early morning, leave for Sonprayag. Drive from Haridwar to Sonprayag. Check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Sonprayag.
Sonprayag - Gaurikund - Kedarnath Trek (21 KMs Trek)
After breakfast, leave for Kedarnath temple (One of the Jyotirlinga). The Gaurikund to Kedarnath temple trek is around 20 Km. Reach the Kedarnath temple by evening. Check-in at the stay, Dinner, and overnight stay at Kedarnath.
Kedarnath - Sonprayag - Chopta (21 KMs trek and 80 KMs drive)
After breakfast, leave for Sonprayag. Trek down for 20 Km. Reach Sonprayag by evening. Drive to Chopta. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Chopta - Tungnath - Chandrashila (6 KMs trek)
After breakfast, start trekking from Chopta to Tungnath (Which is around 3 - 4 KMs). It takes around 03 hrs to reach the Tungnath temple. After spending some time, continue the trek to Chandrashila, which is 1.8 KMs from there. Trek is a little steep from Tungnath to Chandrashila. Reach Chandrashila. Capture the various peaks from there (Kedarnath, Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi, Nanda Ghunti). After spending some time there, trek down to Chopta. Dinner and overnight stay at the campsite.
Chopta - Haridwar (182 KMs / 5 hrs)
After breakfast, leave for Haridwar. Reach Haridwar by evening. Drop at Haridwar railway station/Airport.

- Any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to an increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect before departure.
- Any kind of insurance.
- Anything that is not included in the inclusion.

3) Expect final confirmation and acknowledgement from your Destination Expert within 2-3 days after payment
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
- If cancellation is made 30 days before the date of travel, then 25.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees
- If cancellation is made 15 to 30 days before the date of travel, then 50.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees
- If cancellation is made 0 to 15 days before the date of travel, then 100.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees
- In case of Natural Calamity / Strike / Political Disturbances, if Roads remain open, the above Cancellation Policy will be applicable.
Note: No refund will be issued for any unutilized services after the commencement of the tour, regardless of the reason
PAYMENT POLICY
- Min 30% at the time of booking
- The remaining amount should be paid a minimum of 30 Days before the date of travel. For hotel-specific booking, you have to pay 50% at the time of booking
- Onground payments are not allowed
ALTERATION POLICY
- For Group + Private Departures, If Rescheduling/ Modification is done 15 Days Before the Date of travel, 30% of the total tour cost will be charged as the rescheduling fees
- For Hotel Specific, 100% of the total tour cost will be charged as the rescheduling fees
- No rescheduling/ Modification available between 0-15 Days before the Date of travel
- Rescheduling validity extended to one year from the existing date of travel
Modification Charges
- In case of a change in No of people, Route, Vehicle, number of days, etc, a new quote is to be provided to the customer

- Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
