Kedarnath Tungnath Pilgrimage Package (4 Night / 5 Days)

Kedarnath and Tungath are considered to be in the list of Panch Kedars. These temples were built by the Pandavas after the war of the Mahabharata when Lord Krishna suggested that them meet Lord Shiva to get rid of their sins of killing their blood relatives. On the opposite side, Lord Shiva was angry with Pandavas on the bloodshed caused in the war and tried to avoid meeting them, during the process, Lord Shiva took the form of a Bull, hiding himself in the herd of cattle at the Kedar Village. Bhima was sharp enough to differentiate and understood the Bull was no ordinary bull but Lord Shiva. Only when Bhima got to catch the bull's (Shiva) hump, it hid itself into the earth, parts of which was later found in 5 different palces. Those places are beleived have emerged parts of Lord Shiva- Madmaheshwar (Belly Button), Rudranath (Face), Kalpnath / Kalpeshwar (Hairlocks), Tungnath (Arms) and Kedarnath (Hump). Tungnath has the highest temple of Lord Shiva.
