Arriving in Siliguri by air or train, you'll be welcomed and taken to the charming town of Gangtok. After checking into your hotel, enjoy the day at your leisure. You can explore Phodong Monastery with its stunning murals or visit Tashiding Monastery, known for its sacred relics and the Bhumchu festival. In the evening, take a stroll through Lal Bazaar to experience local crafts and street food before returning to your hotel for a restful night.

Experience an enchanting sightseeing excursion in Gangtok. Your adventure commences with a trip to Tsomgo Lake, a breathtaking glacial lake renowned for its captivating beauty and the dynamic colors it displays throughout the year. Next, consider a visit to Nathu La Pass (optional), celebrated as the highest motorable road in the world, soaring above 14,000 feet, and serving as a crucial connection between India and China. Your day will culminate with a visit to Baba Mandir, a memorial dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, a soldier who heroically fought during the Sino-Indian War of 1967. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Upon leaving the hotel, you'll be transported to Lachen, a serene village in North Sikkim, surrounded by the stunning Himalayas. A stop will be made at Chungthang Town to view the confluence of the Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu rivers. After checking into your hotel in Lachen, you can relax or explore the town and engage with the local culture. End your day with an overnight stay at the hotel, ready for the adventures ahead.

After breakfast, leave for Gurudongmar Lake (17,200ft), Thangu (13,000 ft.), and Chopta Valley (13,200 ft.). Thangu Valley is a broad valley at the junction of Thangu Chu, Chopta, and Lasur Chu. In the spring end to summer months, Rhododendrons, Primula, and many other Alpine flowers are in full bloom. In the winter months, you can play in the snow or even walk over frozen rivers. The unspoilt beauty of the area will take your breath away. Come back to Lachen for Lunch. After lunch, proceed to Lachung. En route, see the beautiful Twin Waterfalls and Bhim Nala Waterfalls. Arrive in Lachung in the late afternoon or evening & transfer to the hotel. Night stay in Lachung.

• You can also visit Kalapathar by paying extra to the driver on the spot. Subject to the availability of a permit, it depends on road and weather conditions.
• People above the age of 60 with heart and breathing problems, and also the children below the age of 5, unless they sign an undertaking by themselves or their guardian for Gurudongmar Lake.
• Foreigners are not allowed to visit Gurudongmar Lake.

After breakfast, proceed to Yumthang(11,800 ft.). En route, visit the famous hot spring. Yumthang is a large valley surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends. In April/ May/ June, the valley erupts in a riot of colors as Rhododendrons, Primula, and many other Alpine Flowers are in full bloom. In the winter months, Yumthang is somber with snow all around and the snow-clad mountains adding to the ethereal beauty. Later, come back to the hotel, have lunch, and then drive back to Gangtok.

You can also visit Katao, Sanglaphu Cho Lake, and Yumesamdong, also known as Zero Point, by paying extra vehicle charges to the driver on the spot.
 

After checking out, you will be transferred to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. Explore the charming city at your own pace, visiting attractions such as Nightingale Park, famous for its lush greenery, the colonial-era St. Andrew’s Church, and the sacred Mahakal Mandir. For those seeking adventure, a hike up to Observatory Hill offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Today, embark on a comprehensive city tour of Darjeeling. Begin with an early morning visit to Tiger Hill, where you can witness the breathtaking sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. Continue your exploration at the Peace Pagoda and the Batasia Loop, known for its scenic railway loop. Visit the Ghoom Monastery and the Tibetan Refugee Centre to gain insight into local culture and history. Additionally, explore the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, home to various endangered species. After a fulfilling day of exploration, return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
 

On your last day, you will check out of your hotel and proceed to Siliguri. Upon reaching New Jalpaiguri Railway Station or Bagdogra International Airport, your journey will come to an end, allowing you to reflect on the cherished memories made during this captivating trip through Sikkim and Darjeeling.
