Different travel options available
The Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is not for the faint-hearted, it is a challenging expedition to go on. There are different routes available for Kailash Yatra. Two routes are very popular amongst pilgrims Nathu-la & Lipulekh operated by Government of India and Hilsa, Kyrong & Lhasa route operated by Travel agents.
- By the route recommended by the Ministry of External Affairs of India. Sikkim and Uttarakhand, you will have to trek a lot. The rates are high and fixed by MEA and are non-negotiable and non-refundable.
- With private operators who will take you through Nepal. This route is comfortable and faster. Pilgrims get to stay in good hotels, team of Sherpas and helicopters for transfers. Heli add more adventure in yatra.
