Apart from the yatra timings, it is also important to know the time when the booking for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra opens and closes. Ideally, it is best to book your tour at least two – three months prior to the date of the departure you plan (Focus on early booking to get a good discount & confirmed seats). Yatra permit is applied for groups, approximately 45 days before so there might be a probability that you don't get preferred dates at the last moment. This is because thousands of pilgrims visit there, which also leads to price hike in the cost of accommodation in the best hotels there.
