Kanjak pujan 2025: Significance, date, time, bhog & puja vidhi
Out of all nine auspicious days, the ninth day of Navaratri is dedicated to Maa Siddhidatri, who embodies the supreme knowledge and grants siddhis and wisdom to her devotees. Many people ask, is Kanjak Pujan on Ashtami or Navami? Well, both days are believed to be auspicious for Kanjak Pujan. However, only Rahu Kaal should be avoided for Kanjak Pujan.

In several parts of North India, Kanjak Pujan, also called Kumari Pujan or Kanya Pujan, is observed either on Durga ashtami or navami. 9 kanyas, who are believed to be a symbol of feminine power, are invited to homes and offered prasadam. This tradition is believed to bring immense growth, happiness, and abundance to a household with the blessings of Maa Durga.
