  • Taking a bath, and wearing clean or white traditional clothes

  • Visit a Shiva temple or worship a Shivlinga at home

  • Rudrabhishek, offering water, milk, curd, honey, sugar, ghee, and belpatra

  • Chant the powerful Shiv Mantra “Om Namah Shivaya” 

  • Read or listen to the Somwar Vrat Katha and Shiv Chalisa
