Amazing Bhutan

Welcome to Bhutan, the last Himalayan Buddhist Kingdom, where happiness is measured above material wealth and ancient traditions thrive amidst breathtaking landscapes. This "Land of the Thunder Dragon" enchants with its pristine environment, vibrant culture, and profound spirituality woven into everyday life.

Begin your journey at Changangkha Monastery, a 12th-century fortress-like temple where parents seek blessings for newborns. Experience the serene Phobjikha Valley, winter sanctuary for the endangered black-necked cranes, considered embodiments of celestial beings. Ascend to Dochu La Pass, adorned with 108 memorial chortens offering spectacular Himalayan panoramas.

Marvel at Gangkhar Puensum, the world's highest unclimbed mountain, sacred and untouched by human footprints. Challenge yourself to reach Taktshang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), dramatically perched on a 3,000-foot cliff where Guru Rinpoche arrived on a flying tigress.

Discover Jangtsa Dumgtse Lhakhang, built to subdue a demoness, featuring rare three-dimensional mandalas across its floors. Complete your spiritual odyssey at Druk Choeding Lhakhang, Paro's oldest temple, housing precious relics and vivid murals depicting Buddha's life journey. Each site reveals Bhutan's unique philosophy of Gross National Happiness.
