Chaurasi Temple Front View in Bharmour
The front view of Chaurasi Temple gives a clear look at one of the oldest and most important temple complexes in Bharmour, Himachal Pradesh. The name "Chaurasi" means eighty-four, and that's roughly how many temples are believed to have stood here originally, though not all of them remain today. What's left is still remarkable: old stone and wood temples dedicated to different gods and goddesses, including Lord Shiva and Lakhna Devi, all standing close together in one open courtyard. From the front, you can really appreciate the craftsmanship, the carved doorways, the wooden roofs, the way the temples have held up despite the weather and the years. It's not a flashy place, but it doesn't need to be. People have been coming here for centuries, and many pilgrims still stop by on their way to Manimahesh, treating it as an important part of the journey. Standing in front of these temples, you get a real sense of how old this land's faith really is: simple, sturdy, and still standing strong.
