Temple Legacy

Temple dating back over a thousand years was reestablished by Adi Shankaracharya in 8th century after discovering a meditative idol of Lord Badrinarayan in the Alaknanda river.

The idol, made of black Shaligram stone, sits in a meditative pose inside the sanctum, exuding deep serenity.
